DYN CDN MANAGER

KITE

The Dyn CDN Manager lets customers adjust the amount of traffic sent to each cache and set specific parameters for distribution and routing.

CDN Manager offers three key benefits: substantial costs savings when compared to using CDN provider, improved performance due to further redundancy with multiple cloud zone, and the ability to test multiple instances at once to determine peak performance formulas and traffic bleed over.

Over the last few months, many current Dyn Inc. customers including Twitter, Homeaway, Zappos, Gigya, and Wikia have offered feedback and use cases of CDN Manager and/or field-tested the solution.

CDN manager can cut 100ms in average connection time for site. The automatic failover between cloud instances manages downtime Registrar or ISP-based DNS solutions cannot route user traffic to various caches, as these systems do not avail any advanced features at the DNS level.

The purpose of a DCC is to push content closer to the network edge to assist in routing traffic to bandwidth-intense content sites so that users receive information as fast as possible. Using a CDN has been the de facto best practice for optimising a user’s Web experience.

Keynote Systems, the leading provider of test and measurement for internet performance provides an excellent tool call KITE, KEYNOTE INTERNET TEST ENVIRONMENT.

KITE allows you to record user interaction with your site and store them as repeatable scripts. You can run these scripts against your site to provide real world performance data. We use KITE to validate the performance enhancement of aiCache.

Our folks are skilled with the KITE testing tool. We will provide these scripts to test your environment with and without aiCache. Using KITE as the measure. The scripts are always free and if we fail to provide a performance increase with aiCache, that is to your satisfaction, we will provide the script writing and testing at no charge.

aiCache can be tested against your environment without interrupting the existing site operations. You can spin-up an aiCache instance on the Amazon Web Service's EC2 platform, and set up a real world test environment, that does not effect your existing operations.

With this instance in place we can provide the scripts for KITE, to test your existing environment, with and without aiCache. If you are not satisfied with the result we will not charge you for the professional services time to implement aiCache and the KITE tests.

To put it simply, we demonstrate an increase in performance to your satisfaction or it costs nothing.
