Many of XYZ users check sports scores and make movie reservations using popular Iphone, Blackberry and Android mobile phones.
The content of the XYZ website is optimized for Internet Explorer, Safari and Firefox browsers. Users visiting the site from the Blackberry, Iphone and Android are forced to scroll to navigate the pages. Often users are unable to view content, which results in them leaving the site and choosing a competitor.
XYZ initially created the domain http://mobile.xyz.com to support these users but was unsuccessful in getting this address ranked in google. When software upgrade to the Iphone and Blackberry where released the new revisions did not have the same capabilities. Users of the older phones could no longer navigate the mobile site.
By implementing aiCache mobile XYZ was able to have all customer visit the original http://xyz.com web address, protecting their marketing investment. After dividing the mobile devices into families, XYZ was able to support all mobile devices with only three sets of content. They where able to make a standard process for reformatting content, based on the capabilities of each family of mobile devices allowing them to automate the content generation and saving thousands of hours of formatting.
